masters of disguise.

Mask. Yes there's the tribal and masquerade ball masks. But what about the one's that aren't physical. The ones you can't see with your eyes, but sometimes with your heart. I say this because today I learned some very disturbing news about a teacher I've had for some years now. I don't want to disturb you as much as I was disturbed with what he did, but I just wanted you all to know, you never who people truly are. Sometimes you never even find out. What I can tell you is sometimes people build there whole reputation and lives on this false molding, a mask, and the only things we'll ever know about them is what they give us.

Deception, disgust, and more than anything sorrow for all the students who confided in him with their problems and stories, just to find he was never who he really claimed. I will leave my readers with this as a lesson to carry in your hearts for the rest of your life: What is in the dark will always come to the light, and closets can only hold so many skeletons, before you have to bury them and move on. The person that will scare you the most is yourself, and it takes more courage to face your demons in the dark than to make up personalities in the light. Hiding from all the things that are wrong with you, they are a part of you, and if you can not face them, you're coward. And you'll die in cowardice. Face yourself, brace yourself, and open your closet.

-one love.
